Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser, on your own device. Your files are not sent anywhere and nobody else can see them.
Where are my documents saved?
They are saved automatically in your browser as you type. They do not sync between devices: download a Word or PDF copy of anything important.
Is formatting kept when opening a Word file?
Headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, underline, lists, tables, images and links are kept. Headers, footers, comments and tracked changes are simplified. Old .doc files are not supported.
How does mail merge work?
Write fields such as {{Name}} in the document, paste a table with those column names and generate a Word or PDF file with one page per row, or a ZIP with one file per person.
